in Rojava
The escalating conflict between the Interim Government of Syria and the Syrian Democratic Forces has intensified the humanitarian crisis.
ŞÎLÊR – Crisis Response is committed to supporting displaced families during these challenging times.
Clashes in Aleppo
The neighborhoods of Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh have been at the center of intense fighting. A ceasefire has been reached on the 11th of January, leading to the withdrawal of SDF fighters, but tensions remain high.
Threats to Rojava
The ongoing advances against Rojava – currently against Deir Hafer – pose strategic risks, destabilizing the region further and leading to widespread humanitarian suffering.
Our Humanitarian Response
Over the past days, SCR has distributed diapers and baby formula to families with infants. These efforts are crucial in alleviating immediate hardships.
SCR is constantly assessing the developing needs and preparing to cover the biggest gaps. Doctors and nurses are standing by to support other partners if the need arises.
