: Responding to Crisis with Compassion
ŞÎLÊR – Crisis Response is dedicated to providing critical humanitarian aid and sustainable community development in North and East Syria and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. We focus on enhancing the health sector and expanding to other areas of need.
Our Journey and Values
Founded in 2022, ŞÎLÊR – Crisis Response was established with a mission to localize humanitarian efforts in response to the evolving nature of global crises. As the sole operator of the field hospital in Al Hol Camp since 2023, we have been at the forefront of delivering critical aid and fostering sustainable community development in North and East Syria and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Our existence is rooted in addressing the increasing complexity of emergencies—ranging from sudden disasters to slow-onset crises—by standing in solidarity with affected communities.
Our work is guided by core values: humanity, impartiality, independence, neutrality, and accountability. These principles ensure that our support is unconditional, inclusive, and free from bias or external influences. We believe in empowering communities to define the help they need and collaborate closely to alleviate suffering and foster resilience.

Making a Difference in Crisis Response
At ŞÎLÊR – Crisis Response, we are committed to making a tangible difference in the lives of those affected by crisis. Our work in the Al Hol Camp and surrounding regions has provided critical medical care and support to vulnerable populations.
