ŞÎLÊR – Crisis Response (SCR) stands as a beacon of resilience and dedication in the heart of North and East Syria. As a locally founded and led NGO, we are deeply rooted in the communities we serve, understanding firsthand the challenges and needs of those affected by conflict and crisis.
Our Core
Mission: Our mission is to deliver immediate and impactful medical and humanitarian assistance, tailored to the unique dynamics and needs of the communities we serve.
Vision: We envision safer, healthier, and more resilient communities, fostered through our dedicated and culturally informed crisis response efforts.
Our Origins
SCR emerged in response to a critical gap in localized aid when an international NGO withdrew from the region. Our foundation is the collective strength and knowledge of local leaders and professionals, deeply versed in the complexities of our region. This local inception ensures that our strategies and interventions are not only culturally sensitive but also highly relevant and effective.
Complementing our local expertise is our extensive experience in the international humanitarian sector. We are committed to delivering high-quality services and implementing efficient processes to maximize the impact of our resources.
Our Operations
At the forefront of our efforts is the operation of a field hospital in Al Hol Camp. This initiative is a direct response to the immediate medical needs of the community. Looking ahead, our strategic plans for expansion across North and East Syria are firmly rooted in our local expertise and leadership, ensuring that our growth aligns with the needs and values of the communities we serve.
SCR is anchored in empathy, efficiency, and collaboration. Our approach respects and integrates local insights, ensuring that every action we take is informed by the very people we aim to assist. This philosophy is bolstered by our efficient use of technology, enhancing our operational capabilities while remaining true to our core values and local heritage.
